Independence Day Celebration - Sunday, July 3

"Wow! You folks got lots of stuff going on over here..." is how a business leader from a nearby (and much larger) community put it while she was visiting Kimball.

Kimball puts on quite the Independence Day party.  The co-ed softball games are exciting to watch.  The parade is a unique mixture of vintage vehicles - tractors and cars, kids on their decorated bikes, floats, horses and buggies, and marching units of all sorts and sizes.

"Tasty, and plenty to eat," is how folks describe the pork feed. There's nothing quite like eating with the rest of the town in the shade over at Pool Park on East Second Street.

Fireworks are the perfect end to the day. View them from the softball diamond or the parking lot of Kimball Protestant Parish.

This year's Independence Day Celebration is being held on Sunday, July 3.
